How to Spot Angels & Demons in Modern Times

I’ve been sharing valuable tips and strategies on Threads, and as I reflect on the impact they’ve had, I realize they deserve a home where they can be revisited.

How to Spot a Demon in Modern Times:
Demons aren’t just figures lurking in the shadows of dreams. They show up in our everyday lives, disguised as toxic people & harmful patterns.

Here’s how to recognize them:

1. The Narcissist: This demon thrives on vanity and manipulation. They charm, gaslight, & distort reality to make everything about them. Their goal is to evoke your energy while keeping themselves on a pedestal in your head.

2. The Sociopath: Unchecked chaos. They lack empathy & exploit others for personal gain. They destroy & create storms wherever they go for no apparent reason.

3. The Psychopath:  Calculated & cold, they excel at faking emotions to manipulate and control. They are masters of deception —wearing masks that hide their true intentions.

4. The Sadist: The worst energy vampire, this demon finds pleasure in causing pain—whether emotional, psychological, or physical. They thrive on making others suffer.

5. The Machiavellian: The demon of manipulation. This demon will stop at nothing to achieve their goals, no matter who gets hurt. They are cynical, self centered, strategic, and highly deceitful. They lack morality and thrive on interpersonal manipulation using others as tools to maintain control. Power is its greatest desire, valued above love, loyalty, or empathy, which it views as weaknesses to be exploited for personal gain.

6. The Dark Empath: A master of emotional manipulation, this demon blends empathy with malevolent intent. They use their understanding of emotions to exploit & control. They are charming and relatable on the surface however they weaponize care & connection to keep you dependent.

These demons don’t announce themselves—they hide in plain sight, blending in seamlessly into society.

Angels: Recognizing the Divine Among Us
Angels walk among us, serving divine purposes in ways we may not immediately recognize. Identifying these modern-day angels requires attentiveness to their actions, energy, & impact on others.

Here’s what we know:

Angels act as conduits of divine love, offering encouragement, healing, & clarity in ways that seem unordinary. Many of us have been conditioned—through trauma, fear, and societal narratives—to be hypervigilant about the presence of darkness, which includes the demons of the dark triad (narcissism, psychopathy, etc.)

In contrast, there are also beings that exist who embody qualities of the light triad; a framework identified by psychologists that includes:

1. Humanism: believing all individuals are deserving of respect.

2. Kantianism: believing in treating others as ends in themselves and not pawns in a game.

3. Faith in Humanity:  believing that all humans are inherently good.

Angels are often overlooked having their presence only fully appreciated during moments of reflection after completion of an interaction. One major common similarity of angels is that they leave an unmistakable impact just by being. Their aura radiates an unexplainable, quiet, yet transformative controlled force.

How to spot them in modern times:

While their roles may vary, angels often take on identities that align with their divine purposes. Below are some of the most common ways they appear in today’s world:

1. The Humanitarian (The Helper)- A person devoted to improving lives and alleviating suffering. They are committed to being of service in some capacity.

2. The Philanthropist (The Giver)- One who donates time, resources, skills, or talents to uplift others and create better experiences.

3. The Advocate (The Protector/Guardian)- Someone who publicly supports or defends a cause, often for the vulnerable or oppressed.

4. The Teacher (The Messenger/Guide)- A person who helps others gain knowledge, wisdom, & values. They inspire personal growth and transformation.

5. The Healer (The Restorer)- Someone who restores balance and harmony to the mind, body, and spirit.

6. The Whistleblower (The Judge/Protector)- One who fiercely exposes corruption, dishonesty, or injustice for the greater good.

7. The Artist (The Creator/Healer)- Those who channel high-frequency energy into their creations as an act of worship, expression, and/or healing.

By recognizing the polarity of both triads, we gain deeper insight into how to achieve greater balance within this realm.

With Love,
